True Vine Equestrian Center began when two 4H leaders, Vickie Nakamura and Jeanette VanVleck, felt called to serve God through their love of horses. As they prayed and brainstormed ideas, God provided Vickie with more land, and by the winter of 2002 and spring of 2003, TVEC was born. The first group to ride was the youth group from Lawton Evangelical Mennonite Church. Since then, TVEC has grown, thanks to God’s guidance. Today, we offer riding lessons for both special needs and able-bodied riders, Summer Horse Clinics, group events, and volunteer opportunities. We’re excited to continue impacting lives for God through our work with horses!
We believe that all Scripture is inspired by God.
We believe in one God, who created the world and everything in it, and who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He lived, died and was buried, rose again on the third day, and one day will come again.
We believe that the Holy Spirit leads and guides each believer and helps them live a godly life.
We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God, but are separated from God through sinful disobedience.
We believe that salvation, a work of God’s grace, occurs when people place their faith in Jesus Christ as full payment for their sins.
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ.
We believe that our mission is to share Christ and make disciples for Him.
